DAY 1: Arrival in Larnaka
Meet by English-speaking guide with the bus at Larnaca airport 45 minutes drive to Nicosia to visit the Byzantine museum. Then to St. John Cathedral to visit and to the old city for lunch. Then to Famagusta gate to have some photos and to the green line and to walk in the old city.
DAY 2: Kyrenia
Breakfast and departure from the hotel for the Green Line cross. Drive first to Kyrenia and the castle with the port, then we drive to reach Bellapais and go for lunch at Bellapais at 13.00 hrs. Leave Bellapais. Drive for one hour to Salamina and then leave for the old town of Famagusta. We will visit the old city inside the walls and back to Nicosia. Dinner and overnight in Nicosia.
DAY 3: Nicosia
Breakfast and check out from the hotel in Nicosia with the guide. To reach the church of Asinou and then drive for 30 minutes to reach the church of Podithou. Drive to reach the next stop, the church of Ayios Nikolaos Tis stegis. We leave for the Kykko Monastery and depart to reach Omodhos and then to the church of holy cross and the winery for wine tasting.
DAY 4: Aphrodite Temple
Breakfast and leave the hotel to reach the birthplace of Aphrodite (Petra Tou Romiou) for photos then we drive to Aphrodite temple. Drive to reach Paphos to the tombs of the kings and we will visit the castle of Paphos. Then to Dionysos house.
DAY 5: Choirokitia
Breakfast and check out from the hotel to drive to Choirokitia. The neolithic settlement of Choirokoitia, occupied from the 7th to the 4th millennium BC, is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the eastern Mediterranean.
Its remains and the finds from the excavations there have thrown much light on the evolution of human society in this key region. Since only part of the site has been excavated, it forms an exceptional archaeological reserve for future study. Leave for Lefkara village and walk around the village to see the very famous handmade lace and silver church of the holy cross. Lunch and then leave for St. Lazarus church for photos.
